The TRACE-RICE project was presented last 16th to 17th of May at Ciência’2022 event in Lisbon. The Ciência’2022 event is an annual meeting of science, technology and innovation in Portugal organized by the FCT-Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia: https://www.encontrociencia.pt/2022

The guest country of 2022 was Egypt, which actively participated in the meeting in terms of representing official entities and scientific institutions. In order to reveal the partnership with Alexandria University, the TRACE-RICE team presented the poster ‘Analysis of rice value chain in Egypt and perspectives for innovation’.

The event provided a great opportunity for engagement of researchers, entrepreneurs, students and the general public, to promote the discussion of ideas and “Build the Future with Science”.
