Trace-Rice on stage of the trends in grain-based foods

The TRACE-RICE project was presented last 23rd to the 25th of March at Transcolab Summit in the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal). The congress was focused on "Trends in grain-based foods" and brought together more than a hundred of stakeholders to discuss sustainable ingredients, processes and products. The TRACE-RICE coordinator was participated in the congress with an oral session "Rice authenticity & traceability, elements of sustainability and quality differentiation" in the morning of march 24th. The poster "Identification of γ-oryzanol profiles in rice varieties" with TRACE-RICE results was also presented. The international event provided a great exchange of experiences and a useful network for the project development.
