TRACE-RICE project will be present at IRC2023

The TRACE-RICE project will be present at International Rice Congress - Accelerating Transformation of Rice-Based Food Systems: From Gene to Globe IRC2023 event from 16 to 19 October in Manila, Philippines. The IRC2023 is a scientific platform for rice-based food systems innovators to work towards shaping a food and nutrition secure future. Convened by the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) every four years, the Congress brings together scientists, experts, and decision makers from the government, private, and public sectors to formulate evidence-based solutions to some of the biggest challenges of the global rice sector.

The TRACE-RICE coordinator will present in 17 October the oral session Molecular identity, physicochemical, cooking quality parameters, bioactive compounds and estimated GI of Mediterranean rice varieties’
